129 years ago today the Cathedral's bells were rung for the first time. Today they still call the faithful to Mass each Sunday evening, and are used for special occasions. A single bell is often rung at the consecration during Mass, and the angelus bell rings three times a day. The bell-ringing team are always on the look-out for new members (Catholics and non-Catholics are all welcome) and would welcome any enquiries. Why not give it a go?
