Today we bid farewell to Rt Rev. Govindu Joji, the Bishop of Nalgonda, India, who has been staying with us for a few days. Nalgonda is Fr Lourdu's home diocese, and his Bishop has been visiting him along with Fr M. Shanthi Reddy, Fr Lourdu's brother. Yesterday morning we had a brief snow shower - the first time that the Bishop had ever seen snow! Another sign of Lancaster's cold winter - the frozen canal - also attracted some interest.

Here are pictured the Bishop (centre), Fr Shanthi (left) and our own Fr Lourdu (right). Fr Shanthi remains with us until Thursday. It has been a pleasure to have him and the Bishop as guests, and hope they have enjoyed their time in Lancaster.
