It is fifteen years to the day since Bishop Patrick was ordained to the episcopate by Cardinal Basil Hume. He served for eight years as an auxiliary bishop in Westminster before being installed as fifth Bishop of Lancaster on 4th July 2001. This coming Friday is the anniversary of that installation.
